CLIENTS AND WEDDING GUESTS CAPTURED IN VIDEO
Guests at weddings appear in video taken by Leelea Films as a part of the visual recording of the event. Guests captured in portraits or in group photos do so as part of the event and their rights are protected by Leelea Films as detailed in this privacy policy.
In terms of explicit GDPR compliance, Wedding clients and guests are filmed within the parameters of GDPR legislation on the basis of ‘legitimate interests’. The filming of wedding guests when viewed as a form of processing personal data is necessary for the legitimate interests of Leelea Films given individual’s personal data which overrides those legitimate interests.
Operating within the parameters of legitimate interests as laid out in GDPR legislation, the disproportionate effort involved in providing privacy policy information to all wedding guests at the event and the degree to which it would distract us from performing our job renders it infeasible to do. Wedding clients should read this privacy policy in advance of the event and to advise them to contact us in advance with any concerns around the processing of their personal data, namely being filmed.
DISPLAY OF IMAGES
We may display any videos to promote Leelea Films on wedding blogs,videography related websites, in advertising, brochures, magazine articles and other such material, providing that the images used are used lawfully and without damage to Leelea Films client(s). The rights of the people captured in these videos are protected by Leelea Films as detailed in this privacy policy.

We take care of the processes around looking after personal data stored on our physical systems. Leelea Films holds the following personal data of clients:

this data is only used in order to respond to your enquiry for Leelea Films to provide wedding videography services, and is accessed through 2 IMacs, both password protected.
If you decide to book the videography services of Leelea Films these details are held within soft copy contract completed via DocuSign.
Soft copy contracts are safely stored within my password protected iMac, and backed on an encrypted external hard drive.
Client videos are safely stored within my password protected iMac and backed up to an encrypted external hard drive.
